Lake Manyara famous for flamingos and tree-climbing lions, Ngorongoro Crater home of the Big Five in a volcanic caldera, and Tarangire home of Africa's largest elephant herds. $2,000 per person. Flights not included. Itinerary — Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, afternoon game drive (flamingos, tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants), overnight near Manyara. Day 2: full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater (Big Five, black rhinos, flamingos), overnight at the crater rim.
