Routes: Marangu (Coca-Cola Route, huts, 5-6 days, good for first-timers); Machame (Whiskey Route, camping, 6-7 days, scenic and challenging); Lemosho (better acclimatization, highest success, camping, 7-8 days); Rongai (from the north, less crowded and drier, camping, 6-7 days); Northern Circuit (longest, highest success, 9 days, camping); Umbwe (most challenging and direct, 6 days, not for first-timers). Best time: January to early March and June to October. Avoid April to May and November (heavy rains). Included: Certified mountain guide. All porters and support staff. All national park fees.
